In Senegal, since 2000, Ucoopia has been working alongside rural communities to reduce inequalities and strengthen their resilience in the face of social, economic, and climate challenges.

We support the agroecological transition and promote food and nutritional security, sustainable management of natural resources, the development of environmentally friendly income-generating activities, and the empowerment of vulnerable groups, particularly women and young people.

As part of the Uni4coop consortium, part of our activities focus on coastal ecosystems. We are committed to preserving and restoring mangroves, strengthening socio-ecological resilience, and improving the well-being of the populations of the Saloum Delta.
