Bolivia
In Bolivia, since 2008, Ucoopia has been working with local partners to strengthen the capacities of farming families and support them in exercising their rights to food sovereignty and land management.
We support communities in the transition to agroecology, sustainable management of natural resources—particularly water—land-use planning, women’s empowerment, and the commercial promotion of local, sustainable, and fair trade products.
At the same time, we are committed to advocacy and consultation between stakeholders in order to bring about changes in public policy that favor family farming and democratic strengthening.
