Farida Gueye Sambaré

With a bachelor’s degree in communication for development from the Aube Nouvelle University in Ouagadougou, I had the opportunity to do my internship with the Communication Unit of ULB-Coopération in Ouagadougou. During my internship, I was able to discover the NGO’s central communication software, TEAMS. This professional experience allowed me to develop behavioral skills such as teamwork, organization, communication, autonomy, anticipation, and creativity. As a communications intern, I was able to carry out certain activities in support of project managers, including designing visibility tools, taking photos and videos, and writing articles and reports.

Overall, my role at ULB-Cooperation has been very rewarding and I appreciate this experience. I believe I now have a solid foundation of personal and professional skills, and I am confident that this will help me in my future career. The biggest lesson I learned from this internship was to trust in my ability to produce useful and supportive material, as well as to truly understand remote working, thanks to Microsoft applications such as TEAMS.
