Bastien Lejeune

As a student in a dual degree program for a master’s in strategic communication, I chose to do my two-year internship at Ucoopia with the desire to invest myself in a meaningful project.

When I arrived, the organization was still called ULB Coopération and Eclosio. So I got to see the process of changing the name and identity from the inside, supporting the communications team at different stages. It was a valuable opportunity to understand in concrete terms how a new identity is created and rolled out, and to be able to contribute to it in my own small way.

Gradually, I gained the team’s trust and was given a variety of tasks. I took part in discussions about the communication plan, created content, wrote texts, designed layouts, took photos, and even took my first steps in drone piloting. This diversity allowed me to explore the profession in its reality and identify what motivates me the most.

Above all, I remember a caring team and a real collective dynamic. These two years have taught me a lot, both personally and professionally, and have allowed me to approach the future with greater confidence.
