Marine Collin

My name is Marine, and I am a second-year master’s student in population and development sciences at the University of Liège. I joined the ULB-Coopération team, specifically the ECMS (education for global citizenship and solidarity) team, for two and a half months. The aim of this internship was to get a foot in the door of the world of international cooperation. This internship was a real learning experience for me, both personally and professionally, and particularly in terms of how university NGOs operate. The team gave me a warm welcome and helped me to settle in quickly. During this internship, I felt useful and had the opportunity to actively contribute to several projects and initiatives. I was actively involved in designing a training program for exchange students, creating various workshops using a specific methodology, writing my first call for projects, and implementing an advocacy strategy. These experiences were very enriching for me and allowed me to develop many skills. These skills will be beneficial for my future professional life.

I would like to thank the ULB-Coopération team for welcoming me and for this internship, which flew by very quickly.
