Laurette Ebelle
As a student of population and development studies, before starting my internship, I wanted to deepen my knowledge and gain hands-on experience of how an NGO operates, particularly in areas such as racism, discrimination, and equality.
During my internship at Ucoopia, I worked on topics that are close to my heart, such as intercultural understanding, feminism, and gender issues. I particularly enjoyed helping to create a guide for a discrimination-free campus, a project that gave me a better understanding of the different forms of discrimination and how to prevent them.
This experience has been very rewarding, both personally and professionally. I felt fully integrated into the team and learned practical tools for raising awareness through various workshops and projects.
This internship reinforced my desire to get involved in the nonprofit sector and to continue working on issues related to equality and the fight against discrimination.
