Morgane Joachim

As a student of dietetics, I was looking to learn and discover new things, contribute my knowledge, exchange ideas, meet new people, and try to find my voice for the future. During this internship, I was able to work on my final thesis. It focuses on food consumption and dietary diversity in villages in certain regions of Tambacounda.

The aspect of my internship that I particularly enjoyed was meeting the people who live in the villages. We were able to live with them for a few days and see their way of life, understand more about things and learn a lot. We were in contact with Ousmane Touré, the Senegal project manager, during this internship.

This internship has completely confirmed my desire to work in the non-profit or cooperation sector, and I am actively seeking work with an NGO or on a mission in Senegal. Thank you for this opportunity!
